When a drawing opens a door.

The colourful path of creativity

Every child carries a universe inside them. Sometimes it is made of bright colours, other times of shaky lines or almost invisible scribbles. Every stroke, every splash of paint or crayon drawing is a key that opens doors to worlds only they know.

At Ojos Grandes, we believe that these drawings are not just drawings: they are stories, emotions, dreams that seek to come out and meet others. When a child draws, they are not just painting on paper; they are sharing a part of themselves, teaching us to look carefully, patiently, respectfully.

As adults, we can learn to accompany this process without intervening too much, to ask questions with curiosity, to let their imagination flow without immediate corrections. Because every imperfect line, every colour that goes outside the lines, has a value that goes beyond technique: it tells us how they feel, what fascinates them, what frightens them, what makes them dream.

Today, we invite you to look at your children's drawings — or those of any child close to you — with wide eyes. Ask questions, comment, but above all, leave room for their creativity to be their own voice. And if you like, share their work with us at Create with Wide Eyes: we want all imaginary worlds to have a place to shine.

Because every drawing is an open door, and every door we walk through together reminds us that imagination is infinite and that, with wide eyes, anything is possible.
